Always free for everyone, Lincoln Park Zoo is the perfect place to escape for a day with your favorite wild animals, just 5 minutes from The Whitehall Hotel. Every holiday season, ZooLights transforms the park into a winter wonderland of festive family fun, with millions of animated twinkling lights, colorful displays, caroling, crafts, seasonal snacks, ice carving, and tons of shopping for everyone on your list. Best of all, it's not just for the kids. Warm spiced wine and wintry beers are served alongside hot cocoa and cider, making sure everyone enjoys a cup of good cheer! Be sure to arrive as close to 5pm as possible, as the first 900 guests every night receive a special pair of glasses to brighten the ZooLights experience.

Skate Rental - $5

 

The Farm-in-the-Zoo is home to a brand new ice-skating rink. Admission is only $5, and skaters are welcome to bring their own skates. Rentals are also available at the Farmhouse for an additional $5. And if you need to warm up or grab a bite throughout your day on the ice, seasonal refreshments are served in the Main Barn as well.
